2010 Training Camp Outlook: New Orleans Saints

Will a “Super Bowl Hangover” affect the New Orleans Saints’ shot at repeating? The Sportsbooks and Bodog Sportsbook doesn’t think so, as the Saints have 10/1 odds to win it all. Here is their 2010 training camp outlook.
The New Orleans Saints should continue to light scoreboards on fire. Drew Brees is back and has cemented himself as one of the game’s top two quarterbacks. His receiving corps is filled with home-run hitters and the running game is among the league’s best. The loss of Jammal Brown at left tackle hurts, however.
The “D” lived on big plays last season, something that could be tough to recreate in 2010. The New Orleans Saints created more turnovers than a bakery, which saved their bacon time and time again (just see the NFC Championship Game for hard evidence). The loss of Scott Fujita and Charles Grant may be warnings that this unit will take a step back.
